Wapack 60
And a Wapack 50 youth version
I remember my first multi-day backpack like it was yesterday. In fact, you can read a bit about it on my “about” page.
The Wapack was designed and priced to be just that- someone’s first. Large enough to be the perfect Philmont carry. There is also a Wapack 50, designed for smaller torsos.
I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with designer Jeff Lynch on the initial design concept phase. The pack bag front is, without a doubt, greatly inspired by the iconic Dana Designs, Terraplane. For an interesting read, check out this interview with Mr. Gleason via the great website Carryology.
